The Oktoberfest.de App with many brand new features
We gave the Oktoberfest.de app a complete makeover and added many new and useful features, which will make your visit at the biggest fair of the world even more enjoyable.
The tents: Get a quick and compact overview of the most important information and special characteristics of every tent at the Oktoberfest. By live voting by other users, the app also gives you a live status whether the selected tent is still open or already closed. So you can decide to either join the party there or head to another tent right away. The navigator function also guides you to the tent of your choice.
The navigator: Lost at the Oktoberfest? Not anymore with the new navigator function: The way from your location to the selected tent is displayed on your mobile device either by a compass or by map view, so that you can reach your destination without any detours.
Photos: Add the official Oktoberfest.de logo to you snapshots or beautiful panorama shots. The position of the logo can be easily adjusted. The photos can then be saved to your device, shared on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter or forwarded by SMS or mail.
The lexicon: Become familiar with the most useful terms of the Bavarian language for your visit at the Oktoberfest. Learn how to order beer, charm a special someone or – if necessary – curse in proper Bavarian. Sound samples and example sentences will unleash your inner Bavarian in no time.
Quiz: Test your Oktoberfest knowledge. With 5 lives and time counting down, you will face questions about history, current affairs and surprising facts about the Oktoberfest.
